The Department of Studies in Commerce is organizing a one day state level seminar on "Changing Structure in Indian Commerce'''' on 19th September 2014.

About the seminar:
The seminar focuses mainly on the issues relating to changes affecting in different economic sectors. The two concentrated economic areas of change are notably in the fields of policy formulations and equivocally structural changes undergone relating to the capital markets, e-markets and international markets. A comparative scenario of these markets in the post and pre liberalization periods clearly brings out the ideas and flaws that had crept into these structures. The modification process undergone in the event of changing global environment is expected to provide us with lessons for further metamorphic  change that the economy need to undergo to reach thresholds of a developed economy. With this in mind, the present one day seminar is organized and eminent scholars in these areas will be presenting their points of view.
