MAHAJANA EDUCATION SOCIETY
The history of Mahajana Education Society dates back to the times of our
Nation’s independence movement under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi, a time when education was scarce
and Institutions were few. Visionaries of Mysore like Amble Subramanyam Iyer, Agaram Satyanarayana
Pandit, G. Ranganna, M.N. Jois and M.N. Ramachandra Jois got together to establish the Mahajana High School on
June 30, 1937. Sri. Rattehalli Ramappa carried the mission successfully through its various growth phases.
This modest institution has grown with time and culminated in the establishment of the Post Graduate Centre in the year, 1999-2000.
This mighty educational institution offers schooling from primary to the post-graduate level spread across six educational centres.
VISION
The vision of Mahajana PG Centre is to create 3 exclusive schools of higher
learning namely, Mahajana School of Business, Mahajana school of Biological
Science and Mahajana School of Information Science & Technology.
These schools will turn out post graduates of very high caliber loaded
with knowledge & research.
MISSION
Mahajana PG Centre focuses on quality learning particularly in the
realm of post graduation. With this, the PG Centre is offering higher
education in different areas of knowledge. Its mission is to waken and
kindle the knowledge potential of the young minds of the country. With
this mission, Mahajana Education Society submits itself for the cause of
nation’s service through value based education.
